Called for a second opinion after my regular longstanding ac service company inspected it and told me my 12 year old system had a leak and I should get a new one. System was not blowing cold. Traced the problem to a faulty thermostat. Replaced it with one Pepco had sent me and just charged for labor to do that. Total cost for the entire service call was about $200. When your condition goes out in the middle of summer, it’s a little bit of a panic. When the company that installed your system doesn’t answer the phone anymore, it’s really time to panic! Fortunately, my wife called presidential and not only were they at my home within 24 hours, they fix the system and put us under service contract for about a quarter of the price I expected.
